Teaching has been a passion of mine for over 25 years and one I continue to today. Whether working with the next generation of interpreters or training colleagues on the latest technology, teaching remains an important part of my professional life which I see as a vital contribution to keeping our profession strong and competitive.

Research
I have long been interested in technology, from sound to coding, and how it can be used to benefit linguists. Initially, I started researching the available tools to keep myself up-to-date on the changing world of technology and testing ways to work more effectively. But with the dramatic changes caused by the pandemic and the release of Large Language Models, I have started to focus on making the interpreting community aware of what AI can and cannot do. I publish the results of my research in a regular newsletter, which you can sign up for in English, French or Spanish.
